This is a staple food around our house. It’s the perfect snack because it’s healthy and versatile and most importantly, it’s actually filling and doesn’t leave you hungrier! This is another super easy recipe, it’s simply adding the ingredients to a food processor or blender and watching it go! I am going to work on making my own pita bread soon, but for now, I just pair it with store bought pita bread or pita chips or crackers.

Ingredients:
- 2 cans Garbanzo Beans (or Chickpeas)
- 3 cloves Garlic
- 1 cup Tahini
- Juice of 1 Lemon
- Drizzle of Olive Oil (about 1 tablespoon)
- Pinch of Salt
- Parsley (for garnish)
- Red Pepper Flakes (for garnish)
Directions:
Add hummus ingredients to a food processor and blend until smooth and creamy! The texture will thicken once refrigerated, so if it’s a little runny at first, that’s okay. Add the parsley and red pepper flakes for a garnish, and more olive oil (if desired). Enjoy!
