This is my all-time favorite juice recipe. For me, the fresh citrus + ginger taste never gets old. It’s always a refreshing pick-me-up and it’s pretty simple to make! Really, you can add any fruits or vegetables you have in your fridge. Some examples: Celery, cucumber, apples, pineapple, mango, peaches, lemons, etc.
Last year around this time, we purchased a juicer (the Breville Juice Fountain – Cold Press Electric Juicer – see link here) It’s a little more in the mid-price range, but I’m so happy we went with it. I read a lot of reviews on other juicers and this one was 4/5 stars (or more) across the board, which I thought for the price range was pretty spectacular! Nonetheless, I’ll be sharing more juicing recipes now!
This orange, carrot, and ginger juice is a real zinger! It backs a nice citrus punch with lots of added health benefits. Drop a comment if you try it!
Ingredients:
- 10 medium Carrots
- 10 Oranges, peeled
- 1 Lemon, peeled
- 1 Whole Pineapple
- 2 inch piece Fresh Ginger
Directions:
I always wash and peel my produce before juicing it so it juices smoothly. Cut everything down all veggies into smaller chunks, and peel oranges and lemon. Add everything to the juicer and watch the magic happen! I store mine in bottles I purchased from Amazon for around $20 (see link here) for 6 bottles. Because this juice is quite bold, I divide the juice among all 6 bottles (fills about halfway). I don’t recommend storing for more than 4-5 days, as it looses it’s freshness. Enjoy!
